Executive Director 

Asya Bussie

Asya Bussie is a Baltimore, MD native and graduate of West Virginia University. While at WVU, Bussie received a Bachelor’s in Arts and Sciences with a Degree in Communication Studies and a Master’s Degree in Sport’s Management, while serving as the co- captain of the women’s basketball team. In 2014, Bussie was drafted in the WNBA to the Minnesota Lynx. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and was initiated into the Omicron Upsilon Chapter in 2011. Bussie has resided in Maryland, West Virginia, and Poland largely due to her basketball career. Happy to finally be back in her home town, she is committed to improving the city of Baltimore. Her favorite things include sushi, steamed crabs, music, exercise, and spending time with family and friends. She believes a little hustle and heart will set you apart!

Tenia Fetters

Tenia is a native of the GREAT Baltimore, MD. She is a proud alum of Coppin State University where she earned her B.S in Accounting. While at Coppin she served as the Business Manager for the Student Government Association, a member of the University System of Maryland Student Council and also chaired the Finance Committee. Currently she is pursuing her MBA at the University of Maryland University College. 

 

Tenia comes to Be More Inc. with 3+ years of experience in finance and several years of experience in leadership. She enjoys arts and crafts, singing, and volunteering in the community. In the past she has volunteered for Brides Against Breast Cancer, March of Dimes, MS Walk and many more. A fun fact about Tenia: She performed at the African American Festival in 2010.

Katelyn Fischer

Katelyn, born and raised in Baltimore, is currently pursuing her masters degree in Communication Studies at Stevenson University where she also acts as an assistant coach to the women's basketball team as its graduate assistant. Katelyn completed her undergraduate degree in accounting at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, and was also a member of the women's basketball team. An active member in the community, Katelyn enjoys giving back and helping others. Katelyn has participated in the 4K for Cancer Run for the Ulman Cancer Fund, which is a run that lasts for 49 days and spans from San Francisco, CA to Brooklyn, NY. Even though no one particular enjoys her singing, Katelyn is always up for karaoke and loves to attend country concerts so that she can sing her heart out. Katelyn has never turned down a brownie and hopes to one day be a dessert taste tester.

Gerald Bussie

Gerald is a Baltimorean who was born and raised in charm city. He is currently an employee of Johns Hopkins University that works with children in the music and dance department. Gerald has always had a passion for his city and being involved in youth sports. His favorite sport to play is basketball but loves his home team Baltimore ravens. He loves seafood and his favorite are steamed crabs which charm city is well known for. Gerald graduated from Frostburg State University with a masters in business administration looks forward to giving back to the youth in his home city and state.
